Alyn Foundry Introduction

Country: GB

Liam approached me a few days ago about heading up a section for model stationary engines in the new online  publication of Vintage Engine Enthusiast. First and foremost, I am no expert in this field… I consider my talents mediocre at best. The fact that my business has produced over 30 different models is mainly due to my over enthusiastic nature and a passion for preservation.

I joined the movement in 1978 with a Lister D type wrested from an old concrete mixer. The foundry business followed on from the need to restore my 1919 Lister P type. Model engine production started in 1984 with the surprise introduction of the Penultimate Gas Engine. My name is Graham R. Corry and I started the company known as Alyn Foundry.
