Today saw Cheffins Spring 2025 sale, held at their Sutton saleground with far more engine related lots than usual. Prices were a bit of a mixed bag, some items bringing strong bids with others realising far less than you would expect.
Strong money was paid for lot 2071 – 1928 1.5hp John Deere at £1600
Star of the sale had to be lot 2019 – Gardner hot tube engine bringing £7000. Still less than expected by many.
