DESCRIPTION:Woolpit Steam rally will be returning over the weekend of 30th 
 &amp\; 31st May 2026 to Warren Farm\, Wetherden\, IP14 3JX\, by kind permi
 ssion of R &amp\; P Baker.\n\nWoolpit Steam has always been and is probabl
 y best known for its pre 1930 tractor display which rivals many of the lar
 gest shows in the country and we would expect to see around 20 examples on
  show again this year with a further 70 tractors built before 1965 anticip
 ated.\n\nNot to be outdone\, the stationary engine section is likely to nu
 mber 80 in total with several being over 100 years old. Many will be prese
 nted doing what they were originally designed for by driving an array of m
 ills\, pumps\, dynamos and other machinery. This section includes the Bamf
 ord line shafting display where one engine is powering multiple machines f
 or preparing feed for livestock.\n\n\n\nThe wood sawing display which has 
 examples of steam\, tractor and stationary engine driven saws producing pl
 anks\, posts and fire wood will show people how things used to be done. Th
 e vintage earthmoving demonstration has proved to be an extremely popular 
 feature of the show and anybody who witnessed this last year will know tha
 t this is not to be missed.\n\nOther exhibits on show will include full si
 ze steam engines including examples of showmans engines\, agricultural eng
 ines and even a portable engine designed towed between jobs.\n\nVintage ca
 rs\, motorcycles\, commercial and military vehicles are all represented an
 d a number of models and displays will provide something of interest for e
 verybody.\n\nIf you are looking for a gift or that elusive spare part then
  there are over 50 craft\, trade and auto jumble stalls to tempt you. Ther
 e is also hot and cold food\, licensed bar and ice creams.\n\nGates are op
 en from 09:00 - 17:00 on both days. Car parking is free and the show is ea
 sily accessible from Junction 47a on the A14 eastbound\, or Junction 49 we
