Not really a “Recovery” or a “Discovery” but this appeared at a local auction house and I thought it was worth a punt, bought blind, via an online bid left a few days before and fortunately it turned out to be worth a go!
Clean of the points and carb was all that was needed to get a tune out of it after getting it home then a bit more work done the following night to sort a broken pipe on the cylinder head and another one from the tank to the pump, oil change and it was time for a longer run.
Very happy with this, get a repaint at some point but I’ll probably rally it a bit first.
