January sees the first of numerous exciting updates to come in early 2026 for all our wonderful Subscribers/Members.
Vintage Engine Enthusiast was started as a very low cost, online alternative to a magazine subscription. Print is great, who doesn’t like to thumb through the latest articles on your favourite hobby in print? However, there is no denying, having a lifetime of back issues at your fingertips just a simple web search away is so much more convenient. As it turns out, you lot agreed with us.
So, due to the continued unprecedented support of the Vintage Engine Enthusiast website, we have been able to encourage further support and advertising which in turn covers some more of the costs involved with running the website. This brings us to the first update…
Vintage Engine Enthusiast is now ABSOLUTELY FREE!!!
That’s right, you can now access all the features that previously required you to be a paid subscriber absolutely free with no trial expiration!
Sign in will still be required to view pricing and contact information on Classified Ads and also to Like & Comment on articles, but that is purely to prevent scammers, no-one wants “Just another Facebook Marketplace”.
Monthly competitions will be getting a slight revision, but it is only a very slight revision (TBC).
All paid subscribers will receive a “Site Supporter” badge on their profile for all to see (To be implemented shortly). Anyone who does not wish to support the site is of course entitled to a refund for any unspent subscription.
Moving forward into Phase 2 update and beyond, Keep your eyes peeled for one of the further exciting additions to the website, a download area where all members will be able to browse our vast, forever growing library of Vintage Stationary Engine and related literature (Example below) that with the full support of almost all the manufacturers and rights owners can be freely downloaded for your personal use.

If anyone has any ideas/suggestions they would like to bring to the party then please do not hesitate to get in touch via the Contact page.
