The special feature for Tractor Fest 2026 will be engines made in Scotland. In fact, the made in Scotland feature isn’t just for the engines, it’s across the entire rally. In the engine section we are hoping to attract an array of interesting examples.
There was a large amount of engine manufacturers in Scotland. The more well-known names include Allan Bros (Aberdeen), Shanks (Arbroath) and Wallace (Glasgow), manufacturer of the Glasgow sleeve valve engines. However there were dozens more with names such as Macmillan (Alloa), Wilson (Aberdeen), T. Melvin & Son (Glasgow), D. Bruce Peebles & Co (Edinburgh), Glennifer (Glasgow) and many, many more.

The special feature at Tractor Fest always draws out some unusual engines and we hope that for 2026 we can attract a diverse display of Scottish engines. Its not just Scottish engines at the show, as usual we are expecting in excess 300 engines and close to 2500 exhibits in total. If you have an engine that you would like to enter, please visit our website www.tractorfest.uk where entry forms are available.
