The Wullie Broon Memorial Crank Up is organised by the Dumfries & Galloway Vintage Machinery Club.

The weather forecast was not great for the weekend, and indeed it did prove to be a bit cold and wet on the Sunday morning. That didn’t seem to deter lots of exhibitors from bringing engines to display. Thankfully the rain stopped and there was sunshine in the afternoon which also gave me chance to take some pictures. There was a nice varied display of engines from a majestic De Dion Bouton, a lovely little Standard Separator engine and several Lister D types of different specifications.

A good event, we were made very welcome by the organisers and it was nice to travel to another area to see some different machinery and meet up with like-minded enthusiasts.
