Ashby Magna Vintage Rally

Over the weekend of 14th & 15th June the NVTEC Midlands Group held their annual summer vintage rally close to the village of Ashby Magna near Leicester. There were about 30 engines on show. Space is limited at the event, but this didn’t stop the organisers utilising the available space and putting on an interesting & varied display of engines. Amongst the engines were the usual selection of the more common engines seen on the rally fields such as the Lister D, Lister A, Petter A1, Wolseley WD & Amanco. There were also some more unusual examples such as a Bamford SV3, Lister AFL, Sattley open crank & a W.J. Bates gas engine.  I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story of this friendly event.
