Competitions and how they work
So you have spent the past couple of weeks reading the many of the articles that have been published so far and feel like youve got something you could add?, Well here is a simple explanation of exactly why you should.
Best Article Of The Month
Best Article Of The Month – Nice and easy this one.
The total amount of “likes” recieved on an article within the first 30 days of publishing. To make it as fair as possible to all and to ensure an even flow of submitted content “Best Article Of The Month” will be drawn 30 days after the end of the month. Ensuring, for example, something published on the 31st of March has just as much chance of winning as something published on the 1st March.
30 days from the publishing date, not the date which the article is submitted.
Each article submitted is an entry, there is no limit on the number of entries per author. The more you write, the more chances you have of winning, it really is as simple as that.
Most Popular Author Of The Year
Most Popular Author Of The Year
The total “likes” received across all of an authors articles between January 1st – December 31st, drawn on January 1st of the following year. For example, “Most Popular Author Of 2025” will be announced on 1st January 2026.
There is no limit on the number of articles each author can submit. The more you write, the more chance you have of winning.
1st place – £250
2nd place – £100
3rd place – £50
All prizes will be paid via BACS.
So as if you didn’t any more of a reason, get that pen to paper and get submitting folks.
